Accepting MLT under the following conditions: They will need to be ASCP-MLT AND ASCP-BB certified with Blood Bank experience in large facility. We would consider and interview these candidates to make sure they will be a good fit in our high volume and highly specialized Blood Bank. Because we are looking for placement on our night shift, we need to have strong technical candidates & must be comfortable working alone.
Skillset Requirements: Specimen processing, ABO/Rh/Antibody Screen & ID, Antibody Typing: Tub Method, Crossmatch-Immediate Spin/IgG, Electronic Crossmatch, Indirect Coombs Test
Staffing Ratios: 15,000 samples
Unit Information: Blood Bank performs routine and specialized compatibility testing as well as preparation of blood components for transfusion. Our Blood Bank lab supports the transfusion needs of a number of specialty services for both pediatric and adult patients.
