• Four 10-hour day shift Monday-Friday 7:00am-5:30pm *
• 1 rotating day off Monday-Friday *
• No evenings, weekends, on-call, or holidays Duties include:*
• Performing phlebotomy and blood collection services to patients of all ages *
• Preparing samples for pickup*
• Maintain appropriate supplies inventory*
• Charting blood draws Wage based off of education, certification, and phlebotomy experience Laboratory Assistant = No certification or previous experience required ($16.00-25.50) Senior Laboratory Assistant = Requires active phlebotomy certification ($17.00-26.50) Pathology Technician = Bachelor's degree required in biology or related subject ($22.50-36.00)

  Summary

  Responsibilities include phlebotomy, collecting, preparing and processing specimens biological specimens.

  Job Description

  Assists in performing laboratory activities and other assigned tasks.
• Aids in preparing laboratory specimens and supplies. May be responsible for entering laboratory orders and results. Ensures the accuracy and quality of laboratory data in a safe and professional work environment.

  Qualifications

  High school diploma or General Educational Development Diploma (GED) preferred. Completion of a formal phlebotomy program, phlebotomy experience, and experience in a laboratory-related field preferred. May be required to have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
