Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Support The Technology Center for Genomics & Bioinformatics by performing tasks to maintain the overall organization and cleanliness of the lab. The incumbent will also be assigned to perform simple lab techniques including QC and Nucleic Acid Isolation.

The lab assistant will be directly supervised by the Manager and Director of the lab.

Job Qualifications

Educational background in Biological Sciences, BA or equivalent.

Ability to use a personal computer and basic computer applications.

Ability to work nights and weekends as needed.

Ability to organize and present results in an appropriate format.

Ability to maintain complete and accurate records.

Able to read and understand scientific protocols.

Good oral and written communication skills in English

Ability to work independently after training.
