About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated
Lab Assistant to support daily laboratory operations. This role involves assisting with experiments, maintaining equipment, organizing materials, and ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare laboratory materials, equipment, and solutions
- Assist senior staff with experiments and data collection
- Maintain accurate records and lab notebooks
- Ensure compliance with laboratory safety protocols
- Clean and sterilize equipment and workspaces
- Manage inventory of lab supplies
- Perform routine testing, measurements, and sample processing
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic understanding of laboratory procedures and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Good communication skills
Preferred:
- Coursework or degree in biology, chemistry, or related field
- Previous lab experience (academic or professional)
