Summary:
Presbyterian Healthcare Services is transitioning the management of labor productivity from a location-based model to a centralized, system-led model, with a primary focus on clinical labor - the nursing, medical group, ancillary, and patient-care departments that drive the majority of the system's labor expense and most directly affect quality and safety.
The Labor Productivity Analyst / Workforce Optimization Specialist supports the Director, Clinical Labor Productivity & Workforce Optimization through workforce analytics, productivity monitoring, staffing analysis, labor performance reporting, and workforce optimization initiatives across Presbyterian Delivery System. The role partners with operations, nursing, finance, and HR leaders to ensure staffing resources are aligned with patient volumes, productivity expectations, quality standards, and financial goals. This is done through supporting the Director to proactively identify opportunities in financial operations and workforce management, including development of workforce standards, internal benchmarks and business impact of system wide operational initiatives. Provides support for workforce management projects with reporting and analysis for industry research, benchmarking, and operational feasibility reporting.
The Analyst will prepare analysis, status updates, reports, workplans, dashboards, communication/ planning activities and other materials for workforce management related functions.
Work entails a high degree of autonomy and accuracy in workforce management analytical and reporting functions. Maintains strict confidentiality of all patient, employee and company data.
