Compensation

$235,000 – $345,000+

A premier national law firm is seeking a Labor & Employment Transactional Associate Attorney to join its Pittsburgh office.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in advising private equity sponsors, corporate clients, and executive leadership teams on sophisticated employment matters arising in connection with mergers and acquisitions, executive transitions, and other strategic transactions.

Ideal Background

3–6 years of labor & employment, executive compensation, employee benefits, or corporate transactional experience gained at a sophisticated law firm

• Experience supporting the labor and employment aspects of mergers, acquisitions, private equity investments, and other corporate transactions

• Experience conducting employment due diligence and advising clients regarding employment-related risks and liabilities in transactional settings

• Experience drafting and negotiating executive employment agreements, separation agreements, restrictive covenant agreements, and related employment documentation

• Experience advising clients regarding executive mobility, non-competition agreements, non-solicitation obligations, and trade secret protection

• Experience supporting post-transaction workforce integration, executive transitions, and sensitive personnel matters

• Experience advising senior executives and corporate leadership regarding employment, governance, and workforce-related issues is preferred

• Strong drafting, analytical, organizational, and communication skills

• Ability to manage sensitive, high-stakes matters requiring discretion, strategic judgment, and responsiveness

• Excellent academic credentials

J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required

Pennsylvania bar admission required or ability to become admitted
