Labor & Employment Attorney: Fully Remote Opportunity Serving Florida Employers

Our client, a Florida firm with an active labor and employment practice, is seeking a Labor & Employment Attorney with 3+ years of experience to handle matters remotely while supporting its Gainesville and statewide practice. The group defends employers in discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, wage-and-hour, and related employment disputes.

This is a remote role. You will work from home with regular virtual collaboration with partners and clients, and occasional travel for depositions, hearings, or mediations as needed.

What You'll Do

• Defend employment litigation from pleadings through resolution
• Draft motions, discovery, position statements, and briefs
• Take and defend depositions by video or in person as required
• Attend mediations, hearings, and administrative proceedings
• Counsel clients on litigation risk and practical workplace strategy

What We're Looking For

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Member of The Florida Bar in good standing
• 3+ years of labor and employment or employment litigation experience
• Strong research, writing, and advocacy skills
• Comfort working independently in a remote setting
• Willingness to travel for key case events when needed
