Labor & Employment Attorney: Remote Employment Defense in Clearwater

Our client, a well-regarded Florida management-side employment firm, is seeking a Labor & Employment Attorney with 3+ years of experience to join its Clearwater office. The team defends employers in state and federal court and before administrative agencies.

This is a remote role. You will work from home with regular virtual collaboration, and occasional travel to Clearwater or other venues for hearings, meetings, or trial as needed.

What You'll Do

• Defend employers in discrimination, retaliation, wage-and-hour, and wrongful termination claims
• Draft position statements, motions, and discovery
• Take and defend depositions
• Advise employers on policies and compliance
• Attend mediations, hearings, and trials

What We're Looking For

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Member of The Florida Bar in good standing
• 3+ years of labor and employment litigation experience
• Excellent research, writing, and client communication skills
• Ability to work effectively and independently from a home office
