Labor & Employment Attorney

A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Labor & Employment Attorney to represent employers in a broad range of labor and employment matters, including counseling, compliance, and litigation. This role combines proactive client counseling with hands-on litigation and administrative representation, working directly with public and private sector employer clients.

Responsibilities:

• Advise clients on employment policies and practices and regulatory compliance
• Negotiate collective bargaining agreements for public employers
• Assist with and respond to union grievances
• Handle administrative proceedings before labor and employment agencies
• Represent employers in state and federal court in matters involving discrimination, wage and hour disputes, wrongful termination, and related employment claims

Qualifications:

• Active bar admission in NH
• Experience in labor and employment law, employer-side representation preferred
• Experience with collective bargaining and union relations a plus
• Strong litigation and administrative hearing experience
• Excellent client counseling, negotiation, and communication skills
• Ability to manage a varied caseload involving both compliance/counseling and litigation work
