Labor & Employment Attorney: Management-Side Practice in Tallahassee

Our client, a well-regarded North Florida firm, is seeking a Labor & Employment Attorney with 3+ years of experience to support its Tallahassee practice. The group defends employers in discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, and FLSA wage and hour litigation, and counsels clients on workplace policies and compliance.

This is a hybrid position. You will divide your week between the Tallahassee office and home.

What You'll Do

• Defend employers in state and federal court and before the EEOC and FCHR
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and position statements
• Take and defend depositions and attend mediations and hearings
• Advise clients on handbooks, investigations, and employment decisions
• Conduct training and compliance reviews for business clients

What We're Looking For

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Member of The Florida Bar in good standing
• 3+ years of labor and employment experience, preferably on the management side
• Strong research, writing, and advocacy skills
• Sound judgment and excellent client service
• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines
