Labor & Employment Attorney: Employer-Side Practice with Hybrid Flexibility in Sarasota

Our client, a well-established Gulf Coast firm, is seeking a Labor & Employment Attorney with 3+ years of experience to join its Sarasota office. The practice advises and defends employers in healthcare, hospitality, construction, and professional services on discrimination, harassment, FMLA, ADA, and wage and hour claims.

This is a hybrid position. You will split your week between the Sarasota office and home.

What You'll Do

• Defend single-plaintiff and collective action claims in state and federal court
• Respond to administrative charges and agency investigations
• Draft motions, discovery, and settlement agreements
• Advise employers on hiring, discipline, leave, and separation decisions
• Review handbooks, policies, and restrictive covenant agreements

What We're Looking For

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Member of The Florida Bar in good standing
• 3+ years of labor and employment litigation or counseling experience
• Strong research, writing, and client communication skills
• Ability to manage a varied docket
• Comfort working on a hybrid schedule
