Labor & Employment Attorney: Hybrid Defense Practice in Center City Philadelphia

We are working with a sophisticated firm that is adding a Labor & Employment Attorney with 3+ years of experience to its Philadelphia, Pennsylvania team. Attorneys enjoy a flexible hybrid schedule, typically coming into the Center City office a couple of days a week to collaborate.

This is a management-side role. Plaintiff-side attorneys looking to switch sides will be considered. It is an ideal fit for an employment lawyer who wants sophisticated work, long-term stability, and genuine career growth.

What You'll Do

• Provide day-to-day advice to employers on policies, contracts, compensation, leaves, discipline, and terminations
• Defend employers in wage-and-hour, discrimination, and other employment litigation
• Assist with labor relations matters, including grievances, arbitrations, and organizing campaigns
• Research complex employment issues and draft polished written work product
• Counsel clients on risk management and workplace investigations

What We're Looking For

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active member of the Pennsylvania Bar in good standing
• 3+ years of labor and employment experience
• Strong litigation and counseling skills on the management side preferred
• Excellent writing and research skills
• A collaborative, positive, team-player approach
• Based in or able to work hybrid from the Philadelphia area
