Labor & Employment Attorney: Management-Side Practice with Hybrid Flexibility in Downtown Los Angeles

Our client, a respected Southern California firm, is seeking a Labor & Employment Attorney with 3+ years of experience to join its downtown Los Angeles office. The group defends employers in single-plaintiff and class action matters involving FEHA discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, and PAGA claims, and advises clients on day-to-day workplace issues.

This is a hybrid position. You will split your week between the Los Angeles office and home.

What You'll Do

• Defend employers in state and federal court, arbitration, and agency proceedings
• Litigate wage and hour class and PAGA representative actions
• Draft motions, discovery, and mediation briefs
• Take and defend depositions and attend mediations and hearings
• Counsel clients on policies, investigations, and California employment compliance

What We're Looking For

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active member of the State Bar of California in good standing
• 3+ years of California labor and employment experience, preferably on the management side
• Strong research, writing, and advocacy skills
• Sound judgment and excellent client service
• Comfort working on a hybrid schedule
