Labor & Employment Litigation Associate
Our client, a highly regarded national law firm, is seeking a litigation associate with approximately 2+ years of experience to join its Denver-based employment practice. This opportunity offers exposure to sophisticated labor and employment matters for a diverse client base, ranging from regional businesses to national employers.
The selected attorney will play an active role in defending workplace disputes, advising employers on day-to-day employment issues, and handling complex wage and hour collective and class action matters.
Representative Responsibilities
- Defend employers in employment-related litigation before state and federal courts, as well as administrative agencies.
- Counsel management teams and human resources professionals on workplace law compliance and risk avoidance strategies.
- Advise clients on employee relations issues, including workplace investigations, accommodation requests, leave administration, discipline, termination decisions, and policy development.
- Manage all stages of employment litigation, including pleadings, written discovery, electronic discovery, deposition preparation, motion practice, and settlement strategy.
