Aligned Talent Acquisition is partnering with a nationally recognized Am Law firm seeking a talented Labor & Employment Associate Attorney to join its established Employment and Labor practice in Chicago, IL.

This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys sophisticated employment litigation and counseling and wants to develop a management-side practice while working alongside experienced attorneys representing employers across a broad range of industries.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of litigation or employment law experience, with an interest in management-side employment counseling and litigation.

• Experience advising employers on workplace issues and employment-related disputes is preferred.

• Experience with wage and hour collective and class actions is a plus, but not required.

• Strong legal research, drafting, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.

• Ability to manage multiple matters and work collaboratively with attorneys and clients.

• A genuine interest in developing a long-term management-side Labor & Employment practice.

Attorneys will have opportunities to:

• Represent employers in employment-related litigation and disputes.

• Advise management on workplace policies, compliance, and employment law issues.

• Assist with wage and hour collective and class action litigation.

• Conduct legal research, draft motions and pleadings, and participate in litigation strategy.

• Collaborate with experienced attorneys and develop meaningful client relationships.
