A well-established Los Angeles law firm is looking for a defense-side Labor and Employment Attorney to take on a meaningful caseload and a clear path to advancement. In this role you will represent clients in employment litigation and advisory matters, research and draft pleadings, motions and memoranda, manage discovery, and carry cases from intake through depositions, trial preparation and resolution, while counseling clients on employment issues both independently and as part of a collaborative legal team. The position is hybrid. The benefits package includes a choice of medical, dental, vision and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Active California Bar license in good standing
• Minimum of five years of labor and employment law experience
• Strong research, writing and analytical skills, with the ability to draft clear, persuasive legal documents
• Proven ability to manage multiple cases efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Public entity law experience is a plus but not required
