Description

  Role Lab Technician Location Stamford, CT Pay Range $22- 24/hr. On W2 Duration 12 Months  Shift 8: 00 AM - 5: 00 PM      
Responsibilities:
  • Under the supervision of a Senior Technician or Scientist, the Technician will be expected to perform the following functions with a high level of initiative and independence:
  • Manage product stability (analysis and testing) while documenting progress and results.
  • Record, organize and communicate results/data from experiments and testing
  • Support laboratory batching of body care products (e.G., hand soaps and body washes) and sample submissions
  • Observe safety and environmental guidelines while handling products
  • Maintain laboratory and storage areas, as well as equipment.
  • Ensure adherence to all applicable environmental, health and safety regulations, standards and policies. 
Qualifications:
  • 3years of demonstrated laboratory experience
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office products 
  • Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to understand and follow experimental protocols for preservation of data.
  • Comfortable and able to work with toxic chemicals while following safe laboratory practices/protocols.
  • The ability to stand while working in the laboratory throughout most of the day. 
    Associates or Bachelor's degree in a technical field
