Requirements:
Schedule:
- One (1) year of experience drawing blood preferred.
- Works with individuals with mental illness, mental retardation, chemical dependency, social and/or physical disorders who are inpatient in their habilitation or rehabilitation efforts in the Mental Health Units.
- Will conduct themselves in accordance with the Rules and Regulations relating Lab Technicians in the State of Texas, abide with agency leave policy, abide with rules, regulations and policies of HHSC and Facility and performs other duties as assigned.
Schedule:
- 7am-1pm ( Mon - Fri)
- Candidate must be available for 2 non-consecutive days of training, Day 1 and 6, from 8-5. Additional training would be able to be accomplished during normal work schedule.
- Overtime Pay: Facilities do not allow staffing agency staff to work more than 40 hours in one week unless approved and scheduled on an individual basis by Austin State Hospital
Minimum of 3 to 6 months with option to extend as long as there are no performance issues
License, Certification, or Registration required: (All certifications must be current and remain as such while providing services at the Facility)
