Job Title: Lab Technician
Pay: $18 - $21 per hour
Hours: Weekdays, 40 hours per week

As a Lab Technician, you'll be responsible for performing routine laboratory testing, sampling, and analysis of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements. You'll play a vital role in maintaining product safety, quality, and consistency across all stages of production.

What You'll Do
As a Lab Technician, you will be responsible for:


• Conducting routine physical and chemical testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.


• Approving or rejecting materials based on lab test results within established limits.


• Quarantining materials that do not meet quality standards for further review.


• Accurately recording and analyzing test results following SOPs and regulatory guidelines.


• Calibrating, operating, and maintaining laboratory instruments such as balances, pH meters, and spectrophotometers.


• Documenting test results promptly and accurately in data systems.


• Supporting quality investigations and helping identify root causes of product deviations.


• Ensuring all testing procedures follow GMP, ISO, and safety standards.


• Assisting in maintaining laboratory supplies and inventory.


• Working collaboratively with production, warehouse, and administrative teams to support seamless operations.


• Training new staff or production team members on basic testing and sampling techniques as needed.

What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a laboratory or quality control environment preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of laboratory techniques, safety procedures, and instrumentation.
  • Understanding of GMP, ISO, or other quality standards is a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail, documentation accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with laboratory data systems is a bonus.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
