Job Summary Penmac Staffing is hiring a detail-oriented Seed Lab Assistant for a temporary assignment in Greenfield, MO. This position involves working in a laboratory environment assisting with the sorting, separating, and preparation of seed samples for quality testing. Ideal candidates will have strong attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination, and the ability to perform precise, repetitive tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Sort and separate seed samples according to established procedures.
Divide seed samples into smaller portions for laboratory testing.
Inspect seed samples for impurities and foreign materials.
Use basic laboratory tools and equipment to assist with sample preparation.
Accurately weigh, measure, and organize seed samples.
Maintain a clean and organized laboratory workspace.
Follow established procedures to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Assist laboratory personnel with additional tasks as needed.
Qualifications
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
Previous laboratory or quality control experience is a plus, but not required.
