Our client, a global food manufacturing and agricultural processing organization, is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join their team. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be part of the Quality & Laboratory Operations Department supporting the Production and Quality Control teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and effective communication, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Laboratory Technician
Location: Hudson, NY
Pay Range: $23/hr
• Perform laboratory testing on raw materials and finished products (e.g., flour, wheat, feed)
• Document test results and complete Certificates of Analysis (COAs)
• Prepare samples and conduct quality testing (moisture, protein, microbiological, etc.)
• Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards (HACCP, GMP, OSHA)
• Experience in laboratory testing, quality control, or manufacturing environment
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, and lab systems)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts (including weekends/holidays as needed)
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, or regulated environments (preferred)
• Competitive hourly pay ($23/hr)
