Quality Lab Technician (Entry-Level)

What You"ll Do
Perform quality testing on food ingredients and finished products
Conduct sensory evaluations, including taste, texture, and appearance assessments
Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure accurate results
Investigate quality issues and support root cause analysis and corrective actions
Perform GMP inspections, plant audits, and environmental monitoring activities
Record test results and quality data in LIMS and internal systems
Label and release materials and finished products that meet specifications
Partner with production teams to uphold food safety and quality standards
Qualifications
High School Diploma with 1-2 years of quality, laboratory, manufacturing, or food industry experience; OR
Bachelor"s Degree with laboratory coursework and hands-on work experience
Basic knowledge of laboratory testing and quality control principles
Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Comfortable handling products containing dairy, nuts, shellfish, and other food allergens
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 55 lbs
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with GMPs, food safety programs, and quality audits
Familiarity with LIMS or other quality management systems
Experience with environmental monitoring, swabbing, or SOP development
Passion for continuous improvement and process optimisation

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.55/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
