Job Description:

Vitalant is seeking a Laboratory Technician dedicated to making a positive difference in our donor products manufacturing laboratory. Your impact as a Laboratory Technician is vital. Support Vitalant's life-saving mission by operating within the laboratory handling responsibilities that include component production, labeling, record reviewing and data entry. Great opportunity to learn all aspects of the laboratory!

What to Expect

Schedule:Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm ; E/O W/E 11 am - 7:30 pm

Location: Pearl Street, Rosemont IL

Base Wage: $18.37 - $19.88 (depending on experience)

As a Laboratory Technician, you'll get to:

• Maintain accurate data records and documentation.
• Prepare blood components through processes such as centrifugation, separation, freezing, thawing, washing, storage, sterile docking, transformation, and filtration.
• Ensure product quality, volume, appearance, and time requirements.
• Conduct labeling for routine and special components and implement quarantine procedures.
• High School or GED required
• No Experience Required
