Job Summary
We are seeking a Laboratory Technician to support laboratory testing and documentation activities within a coatings/manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, basic laboratory knowledge, and the ability to follow established testing procedures accurately.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory testing using established test methods and procedures.
- Set up, operate, and adjust laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Accurately record and document laboratory results, technical information, and test data.
- Maintain an up-to-date electronic laboratory notebook and project documentation in accordance with ISO standards.
- Demonstrate basic knowledge of coatings, laboratory equipment, and computer applications.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure testing schedules and project timelines are met.
- Follow all company security policies, safety procedures, and laboratory guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Manage assigned tasks and prioritize responsibilities under moderate supervision.
- Perform additional laboratory duties and projects as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Basic laboratory or testing experience preferred.
- Knowledge of coatings, laboratory equipment, or manufacturing environments is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Ability to follow written procedures and established testing methods.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
