We are seeking a detail-oriented
Laboratory Technician Operations - Central Weigh (2nd Shift) to support weighing, dispensing, inventory control, and warehouse operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with inventory management, laboratory operations, warehouse, or manufacturing experience who thrive in a highly regulated setting and enjoy working collaboratively to achieve operational goals.
Key Responsibilities- Perform accurate weighing and dispensing of raw materials for process orders in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and batch records.
- Maintain complete and accurate documentation of methods, materials, and results within batch records and established systems.
- Process inventory transactions using SAP, including raw material movements, dispensed materials, and Internal Order Requests (IORs).
- Monitor inventory levels and make necessary adjustments to help ensure inventory accuracy.
- Coordinate workload priorities based on business needs, production schedules, SAP requirements, and customer demand.
- Effectively manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing operational requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet departmental objectives and production timelines.
- Keep supervisors informed of project status, significant findings, and critical operational updates.
- Follow all cGMP, cGDP, and OSHA safety requirements to maintain compliance and workplace safety.
- Participate in required training programs and on-the-job learning activities to maintain training compliance.
- Maintain clean, organized, and compliant work environments across laboratories, warehouses, and satellite areas.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and cost-saving projects that enhance operational efficiency.
QualificationsRequired Education- High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
Preferred Education- Associate Degree in a related field.
Experience- 2-4 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, warehouse operations, inventory management, or related environments.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, warehousing operations, and inventory control practices is highly desirable.
Preferred Experience- Previous laboratory operations experience is preferred.
Skills & Competencies- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and respond effectively to changing business needs.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Experience working within regulated environments and following cGMP guidelines.
- Ability to coordinate and support production schedules.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Effective organizational and time-management abilities.
Physical Requirements- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds on a daily basis.
- Ability to work in an active manufacturing, laboratory, and warehouse environment.
