Position Overview
The Lab Specialist is responsible for coordinating laboratory processes, managing medical records, and ensuring lab compliance. This role serves as the primary liaison with external laboratory partners while supporting internal staff with patient testing and administrative documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage medical record keeping, lab reviews, and clinical documentation.
- Act as the main point of contact for external laboratory vendors, ensuring annual certifications and compliance standards are met.
- Assist clinic staff with diagnostic and lab testing as needed.
- Perform phlebotomy and basic laboratory procedures.
Qualifications
- Experience in laboratory processing, medical records, or clinical operations.
- Phlebotomy experience or certification preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and thorough understanding of lab documentation protocols.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Work Schedule & Employment Type
- Direct Hire | Full-Time or Part-Time options available
- Full-Time: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Part-Time: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM
