Responsibilities:
The Lab Medical Assistant IV is responsible for:
- Assists the technical staff within the technical departments
- Handles any and all manual pretesting procedures including waived testing as required
- Works in a team environment
- Demonstrate organizational, time management, analytical, delegation, written, and verbal skills
- Use computer skills appropriate to position
- Must have customer service and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of regulatory standards appropriate to position
- Identifies problems and implements and/or recommends solutions
- Performs other duties as assigned
Certification & Licensure:
- Required - Driver's License (if applicable)
- Required - ASCP / SCYM (if applicable)
- Required - AMT Medical Technologists (if applicable)
- Required - ASPT Phlebotomy Technicians (if applicable)
Education:
- Required - High School or Equivalent
- Preferred - Technical Science
- Preferred - Associate's
Experience:
- Required - 1 year in related field
- Preferred - 2 years in related field
