Job Title: Lab Hardware Technician

Location- Fort Collins, CO // Colorado Springs, CO // Milpitas, CA. ( Day 1 Onsite)

Job Summary:

Provide onsite lab hardware services for Client Storage Drive Rotation Program. The role manages the full equipment lifecycle from intake and asset tracking through deployment, validation, rack removal, restoration, packaging, documentation, RMA processing, and return shipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Experience with lab equipment, including intake, deployment, testing, rack removal, and packaging.

Ability to create and maintain required documentation including tickets.

Hardware asset management skills, including chassis, drive, components, packaging, and configuration tracking.

Knowledge of data center handling procedures, including rack installation/removal, ESD protection, chassis labeling, and protective wrapping

Familiarity with HPE server and storage hardware, including related factory configuration requirements.

Proficiency with documentation and evidence retention, including manufacturing labels, system condition photos, test results, and uploading records to required tracking internal tracking sites.

Operational coordination skills across lab staff, engineering, program management, materials handling, internal orders, and manufacturing return teams.

Attention to compliance, traceability, and process discipline for equipment movement, configuration control, and regional shipping requirements.
