Job Summary
Support scientists with laboratory PCs, instrumentation, and devices in an R&D environment.
Maintain operational computer systems used by scientists.
Join newly supplied hardware to the network.
Secure and harden devices.
Support business and laboratory technology needs.
Troubleshoot scientific instruments and implement data flows.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain existing computer infrastructure supporting approximately 5,000 PCs globally.
Image and onboard new computers into the domain and network.
Decommission computers and related equipment when required.
Secure and protect new and existing hardware.
Consult with business users regarding equipment and technology needs.
Troubleshoot and implement data flows for scientific instruments.
Provide incident management, user support, and coaching for scientists.
Manage user access and permissions.
Test and validate computer software across different environments.
Create and maintain technical documentation.
Implement validated data backup solutions on laboratory analytical equipment.
Perform equipment and software investigations, documentation, and technical configuration within GxP and non-GxP environments.
Support Day-to-Day (D2D) activities and project initiatives.
