    We are looking for an Avionics Lab Engineer who combines superb technical capabilities with a demonstrated ability to get the right things done quickly and effectively. You will work with a team of top-notch engineers and will collaborate with multiple spacecraft design, test, and operations teams. You should be comfortable with a high degree of ambiguity and relish the idea of solving problems that haven"t been solved at scale before.     Key job responsibilities

    Configure and maintain lab computing systems (Windows/Ubuntu)

    • Execute design verification and qualification tests, test rack and electrical enclosure design
    • Oversee lab spaces, implement 5S organization principles, order consumables, track assets and inventory, and coordinate logistics with shipping/receiving
    • Troubleshoot and repair avionics circuits
    • Read electrical schematics, interpret mechanical drawings, and install wiring for low voltage electrical and electronic devices
    • Perform soldering and identify/handle RF cables and connectors (e.g., SMA)
    • Assemble test racks, cabinets, wire harnesses, and automation equipment
    • Write work instructions, assess and improve processes, and maintain attention to detail during routine operations

    A day in the life

    As an Amazon Leo Lab Engineer, you will be hands-on every day - assembling test hardware, soldering RF and electrical connectors, and keeping lab spaces clean and organized. You will set up and maintain Windows and Linux based systems, perform design verification and qualification tests and troubleshoot electrical issues.
