Position Summary: To provide courier service for transporting laboratory specimens between FirstHealth entities and clinics. Responsibilities: Performs lab specimen pick-ups and deliveries in a timely manner following designated routes.

To provide courier service for transporting laboratory specimens between FirstHealth entities and clinics.

 

*Please note that this is not a Full-Time position. This is a Casual Part-Time weekend position only, less than 20 hours a week. 

Responsibilities:

Performs lab specimen pick-ups and deliveries in a timely manner following designated routes. Effectively communicates problems or delays in expected arrival times. Manages and maintains specimen integrity throughout the transport process. 

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent. Current valid NC or SC drivers licensse with a good driving history. Working knowledge of laboratory safety, specimen handling and infection control standards preferred.
