    Description

    Lab Biologist needs 2+ years lab experience in IPSC derived cells, disease models

    Lab Biologist requires:

    Expertise in basic techniques in molecular biology and cell biology, assay development in cell lines, primary neurons and iPSC-derived cells.

    Good understanding and experience working with AAVs preferred

    Excellent interpersonal, organization skills, initiative and attention to detail.

    Ability to think critically and creatively in a fast-paced, highly collaborative scientific environment.

    Neuroscience background preferred, but not required

    Lab Biologist duties:

    Support cell culture platform work including iPSC-derived cells.

    Perform molecular biology and cell biology assays including DNA/RNA extraction, qRT-PCR, ELISA.

    Help manage in vivo studies conducted with CROs, and with academic collaborators, including shipment coordination and sample inventory management

    Maintain electronic laboratory notebooks, write study reports, and present data to the team

    Critically assess data generated from diverse experimental approaches in cell and molecular biology.

    Train new team members in use of equipment, laboratory procedures, protocols, and safety procedures as needed.
