Lab Assistant Highlands Lab FT 3rd shift (Mon Thurs 8:00p 6:30a)

Overview

Performs activities and other tasks as necessary in a laboratory environment. Responsible for the testing of WAIVED laboratory tests, as well as setting up Microbiology specimens for culture. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to: assisting with phlebotomy as needed, centrifugation of specimens, performing serology, loading specimens onto analyzers, etc.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent•Must be currently enrolled in an accredited Medical Laboratory Technician or Medical Laboratory Scientist program
