    • Together we win DescriptionAs an L1 SOC Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring security alerts, performing initial triage, escalating incidents appropriately, and supporting the SOC team in maintaining a secure network environment. This is an entry-level position focused on learning and applying foundational cybersecurity operations skills.

    This will be a shift based role providing 24/7 monitoring, including working weekends. Key Responsibilities• Monitor security alerts from various systems (SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint detection tools) and escalate incidents as required

    • Perform initial triage of alerts, including basic investigation and documentation of findings
    • Identify potential false positives and ensure accurate alert categorization
    • Assist in gathering information about suspicious activity or potential threats
    • Maintain accurate and complete incident and alert documentation
    • Support L2 and L3 analysts with investigations and remediation tasks
    • Participate in shift rotations, on-call support, and SOC handovers
    • Follow established processes and procedures to ensure consistent handling of security events
    • Participate in security awareness initiatives and basic SOC process improvement activities Key Skills• Basic understanding of network and security concepts (TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs, malware, phishing)
    • Familiarity with operating systems, such as Windows, Linux, or Unix
    • Exposure to security monitoring tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, antivirus, vulnerability scanners)
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes accurately Personal Specification• Good written and verbal communication skills for documenting incidents and escalating appropriately
    • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and follow guidance from senior analysts
    • Eagerness to learn about security threats, incident response, and SOC operations
    • Associate's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CySA+, or equivalent experience) preferred
