An emergency medicine, Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) will provide direct patient care to patients in the emergency room, including gathering detailed history and performing physical exams to assess the needs of the patient. The APRN will speak with patients about their conditions, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and collaborate with patients, families, and physicians to establish care plans.
