Key Responsibilities: Design and build production backend services in Kotlin and Java Develop scalable REST and GraphQL APIs Build and evolve the Mobile Service Layer / Backend for Frontend (BFF) Support high-volume, low-latency services used by mobile applications Modernize legacy services and help introduce Kotlin into newer services Write clean, maintainable, tested code Troubleshoot production issues and improve reliability and performance Collaborate with mobile engineers, architects, QA, DevOps, and product teams Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and CI/CD practices Key Requirements and Technology Experience: Strong production experience with Kotlin Strong backend development experience with Java Experience with Spring Boot Experience building REST APIs Experience with GraphQL Experience with microservices Experience with CI/CD and automated testing Strong debugging, refactoring, and production support skills Ability to work in a large-scale, enterprise environmen Backend for Frontend (BFF) architecture Mobile API platform experience Kafka or event-driven systems AWS or cloud-native deployment experience Modern Java features and code modernization work Experience supporting consumer-facing applications at scale Our client is a leading Healthcare Industry and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar contract positions.
