Nesco Resource is currently hiring Knit Operators for 2nd and 3rd shift opportunities in Laurens, SC.
Job Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor industrial knitting machines and textile production equipment.
- Load materials and assist with machine setup and changeovers.
- Monitor machines throughout the production process to ensure proper operation.
- Inspect fabric and finished materials for defects or quality concerns.
- Identify issues such as broken yarn, machine stops, or material defects.
- Make basic machine adjustments and notify appropriate personnel of mechanical issues.
- Maintain accurate production and quality records.
- Keep machines and surrounding work areas clean and organized.
- Follow production schedules, work instructions, and quality standards.
- Meet daily production and efficiency goals.
- Follow all company safety procedures and required PPE guidelines.
- Perform additional production duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous textile, knitting, machine operating, or manufacturing experience is preferred.
- Ability to learn and operate industrial knitting equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Dependable attendance and reliable transportation are required.
- Must be available to work an assigned 2nd or 3rd shift schedule.
