    The team you will be a part of

    The Procurement team identifies researches and evaluates suppliers that meet the organization''s standards of price, quality, timing, and reliability of supply. Recognizes and evaluate sales, promotional campaigns, and other opportunities to secure reduced prices. Assesses supplier''s products to ensure that they comply with specifications and meet the organization''s quality standards.

    This role in summary

    To create and implement the sourcing strategy for KitchenAid Small Appliances OEM business; to develop strong supplier relationships and ensure business continuity through problem resolution, cost optimization, innovation, and project management.

    Your responsibilities will include

    • Developing the sourcing strategy for KitchenAid Small Appliances (KASA) and managing the business relationship with the suppliers (supplier selection, supplier development, contract negotiations, tariff analysis, supplier issue resolution, supplier cost reductions, purchase order approvals, and management).

    • Serving as key procurement contact for all new product launch activities in categories such as cooking, espresso, toasters & kettles, blenders, etc.

    • Leading and supporting various process partner needs, including engineering, marketing, and design.

    • Evaluating suppliers on cost, quality, delivery, and other information to determine the viability of suppliers.

    • Performing periodic market testing to drive cost leadership.

    • To coordinate and track progress on key procurement metrics such as productivity, spend under contract, supply base reduction, cash flow improvement, quality warranty recovery among others.

    • Driving compliance to processes and continuous improvement in the KitchenAid Small Appliance (KASA) space.

    • Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction are accomplished in all work streams.

    • 3 dotted line reports: to help coach and develop 3 dotted line reports.

    Minimum requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree

    • 5+ Years of experience in procurement, supply chain, marketing, engineering, or project management

    Preferred skills and experiences

    • Bachelor's Degree in Procurement/Supply Chain, Engineering or Finance

    • Demonstrated practical use of supplier management and sourcing principles

    • Negotiation, conflict resolution, and management skills

    • Build strong rapport and relationships with internal process partners and Suppliers

    • Analytical and computer-related skills

    • Manage and prioritize multiple key activities

    • Potential and work ethic for future growth
