Join a dynamic opening team in a historic renovated building with a unique concept! The Cambria Hotel Boston Logan Airport is seeking a Kitchen Supervisor to support culinary leadership and ensure consistent execution, quality, cleanliness, and teamwork on the line.

Position Summary

The Kitchen Supervisor provides hands-on shift leadership in the kitchen, supporting food preparation, line execution, quality standards, sanitation, and team development. This position works closely with culinary and restaurant leadership to ensure food is prepared safely, consistently, and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

·      Supervise line and prep activity during assigned shifts and provide hands-on support as needed

·         Ensure food is prepared according to established recipes, portions, presentation standards, and ticket timing expectations

·         Monitor food quality, freshness, temperature, and proper storage throughout the shift

·         Train, coach, and support cooks and prep team members

·         Assist with station setup, production planning, prep levels, and shift organization

·         Maintain strong communication between the kitchen and front-of-house teams

·         Monitor sanitation, food safety, labeling, rotation, and cleaning procedures

·         Support receiving, storage, inventory organization, and awareness of product levels

·         Help minimize waste through proper preparation, handling, rotation, and portion control

·         Address operational issues promptly and communicate equipment or maintenance concerns to leadership

·         Support opening and closing procedures and ensure kitchen areas are left clean, organized, and secure

·         Maintain compliance with Cambria/Choice Hotels standards and all property policies and procedures

Qualifications

·         2+ years of professional kitchen experience preferred

·         Previous kitchen leadership, lead cook, or supervisory experience preferred

·         Strong culinary execution and leadership skills

·         Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, proper storage, and kitchen organization

·         Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities

·         Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Compensation

$24–$28/hour
