Job Summary
We are seeking a Kitchen Staff Employee to join the team at our busy restaurant Nifty Fifty's! As an employee working as a Kitchen Staff member you are responsible for successfully operating multiple stations during hours of operation. Stations include milkshake, fries, expo, and wherever your management deems you are needed during your shift. You are the face of Nifty Fifty's, as customers enter the restaurant, you are expected to greet them and conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times. Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all health and safety rules and regulations
- keep a clean station and stock items when needed
- Verify orders are made correctly following recipes
- Ensure positive customer experiences
- Maintain a "can do" positive attitude and work with kitchen staff to complete opening/closing checklists
- Prepare food and shakes following Nifty Fifty's cooking procedures and guidelines
- Maintain order and accuracy in a fast paced environment
Qualifications:
- Experience in a restaurant or similar position is preferred
- Familiarity with food safety guidelines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds
- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Availability to work evening and weekend shifts
- Organized and can think clearly under pressure
- Experience working with a "team mentality" during shifts
