This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in packaging, production, and prep while growing your skills in a supportive environment.Position SummaryThe Kitchen Production Technician will work across multiple kitchen stations, supporting production, and prep tasks as needed, with a main focus in gummies and edibles making. Ideal candidates are dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced food production environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform duties across kitchen stations and consistently meet production quotasOperate commercial kitchen equipment (ovens, mixers, scales, packaging machines)Heavy focus on gummy and candy makingMaintain high sanitation, hygiene, and safety standardsAccurately document production data and follow all SOPs and recipesSupport additional tasks as assigned by supervisors or managersQualifications1-2 years of experience in food production, specifically gummy/candy-making environment1-2 years of experience making cannabis edibles (preferred)Basic math skills for scaling recipes and measuring ingredientsSERV Safe Food Handler's Card (required)AZDHS Facility Agent Card (preferred)Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/sit for 8-10 hoursReliable transportationStrong time management and communication skillsWorking ConditionsFast-paced kitchen/production environment with variable temperaturesExposure to common allergens (peanuts, dairy, etc.)Strict dress code: no loose clothing, artificial nails, or jewelryCompany-provided T-shirts, aprons, and smocksEmployees must wear black pants and black non-slip work shoesWork AuthorizationMust be authorized to work in the United StatesEnglish requiredIf you are excited to kickstart your career in the cannabis industry and contribute to the success of JARS Cannabis, apply now!
