What We're Looking For:

We are seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager to lead back-of-house operations for a well-established, locally owned full-service restaurant group with multiple locations across the greater New Orleans area. This is a hands-on culinary leadership role in a high-volume, scratch-kitchen environment known for regional Cajun and Creole cuisine and a loyal local guest following.

The ideal candidate has back-of-house management experience in full-service dining, is comfortable working the line during peak volume, and is passionate about developing culinary teams while holding a consistent standard for quality and food safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily back-of-house operations across all meal periods.
• Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, portioning, and ticket times.
• Hire, train, coach, and develop kitchen team members and shift leads.
• Manage kitchen scheduling to meet volume demands and labor budget targets.
• Maintain the highest standards of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen cleanliness.
• Monitor food cost, inventory, ordering, receiving, and waste reduction.
• Uphold standardized recipes and prep procedures for consistency and cost control.
• Partner with front-of-house leadership to ensure smooth service flow at the pass.
• Support catering, private dining, and special event production as needed.
• Maintain equipment care, preventative maintenance, and a safe working environment.
