As part of OnePack Hospitality Group, a local, independent hospitality group, we believe exceptional guest experiences start with a well-supported team. We are seeking a leader who is present on the line, calm under pressure, and committed to mentoring cooks with patience, accountability, and genuine care.
You will partner with the General Manager to lead daily kitchen operations, deliver consistent service, control costs, maintain a safe, organized workplace, and help every team member grow.
What You’ll Do
- Lead from the line during preparation and service.
- Coach, train, and develop cooks at every experience level.
- Maintain high standards for food quality, presentation, consistency, and timing.
- Assign daily work and provide clear, constructive feedback.
- Support scheduling, staffing, inventory, ordering, and receiving.
- Monitor food, supply, waste, and labor costs.
- Ensure proper food storage, sanitation, equipment care, and kitchen organization.
- Maintain compliance with food-safety requirements and company standards.
- Step into any kitchen position when needed to support the team and service.
- Help create a respectful, accountable, and productive kitchen culture.
What You Bring
- At least two years of professional kitchen experience, including supervisory or leadership responsibilities.
- Experience working in a high-volume kitchen.
- Strong hot-line, cold-line, preparation, and time-management skills.
- A genuine interest in teaching, mentoring, and developing others.
- The ability to communicate clearly, stay organized, and lead calmly during busy service.
- Working knowledge of food-safety practices and regulations.
- ServSafe or Food Handler certification, or the ability to obtain one.
- The ability to stand for extended periods and perform the physical responsibilities of an active kitchen position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
