Express Employment Professionals is now hiring Kitchen Prep/Helpers to support a fast-paced food production restaurant in Edinburg, TX. Candidates will be responsible for food preparation tasks, including assisting in preparation of food.

Kitchen Prep/Helper
Location: McAllen, San Juan, Mission and Edinburg, TX
Pay Rate: $11.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-time, must be flexible to work weekends. Two days off provided during the week.

 

Job Summary:
Express Employment Professionals is now hiring Kitchen Prep/Helpers to support a fast-paced food production restaurant in Edinburg, TX. This role is ideal for individuals who are reliable. Candidates will be responsible for food preparation tasks, including assisting in preparation of food.

Key Responsibilities:

• Chop vegetables, pack, and prep ingredients for daily production

• Help unload ingredients and supplies weighing up to 50 lbs

• Assist with making and preparing foods and other food products

• Maintain a clean and organized workstation following food safety standards

• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to meet production demands

• Follow directions from kitchen supervisors and team leads

• Perform other kitchen duties as needed

Requirements:

• Previous food prep or kitchen experience preferred but not required

• Food Handler’s Permit is a plus (company will allow time to obtain if not currently held)

• Flexible schedule, including weekends

• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
