Paladino's Italian Eatery in Apache Junction, AZ is looking for a passionate and hardworking Kitchen Help / Prep Cook to join our team! Responsibilities:
- Preparing daily food items such as chopping, slicing, portioning, and mise en place
- Making menu items including sandwiches, hot dogs, tamales, garlic bread, salads, desserts, and to-go orders
- Taking phone and counter orders professionally
- Helping with guest service and order accuracy
- Supporting line cooks during service
- Receiving, organizing, storing, and labeling food deliveries
- Keeping the kitchen clean, organized, and sanitary
- Following food safety, health, and sanitation standards
- Previous kitchen, prep cook, or food service experience preferred but not required
- Basic knife skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy kitchen environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and consistency
- Reliable, punctual, and a team-first attitude
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Food Handler's Card or willingness to obtain one upon hire
