Kitchen and Cabinet Designer/Sales $70k-$110k DOE

Cypress Design & Build seeks a designer to create detailed drawings and design plans for kitchen and bathroom cabinetry. The cabinet designer will be required to consider the intended purposes of each cabinet job, along with the client's style preference, when drafting cabinet layouts. This position is responsible for creating designs from customer requests for kitchens and decks and maintaining a log of the work completed.
 
Knowledge:

• Proven understanding of multiple cabinet lines and catalogs
• Past experience planning, designing, and ordering cabinets and working directly with clients for upscale and luxury projects
• knowledge and flexibility to creatively use cabinet parts in innovative ways
• demonstrated knowledge of how to read, add to, and critique cabinet orders

 Duties will include:
 

•  Receiving design requests from stores and customers
•  Creating layouts using 2020 Kitchen Design Software V. 10 or higher
•  Designs will include residential, multi-family, commercial, and ADA-compliant
•  Design requests will frequently involve reading blueprints
•  Additional responsibilities may include decks, garages, and pole-building design.
• Driving a company vehicle to meet clients

 
 Required Experience
 

• 10+ years of experience in cabinetry design and ordering
• Sales experience to close the deal
•  Professional degree, preferably in architecture or interior design
•  Proficient in basic math for accurate measurements and cost calculations
•  Knowledge of kitchen design principles, materials, finishes, and fixtures
• Knowledge of 2020 kitchen design software https://www.2020spaces.com/2020products/2020designlive/

Compensation: $70,000.00 - $110,000.00 BOE per year
