From there, you could be troubleshooting system discrepancies, performing inspections, or supporting modifications on aircraft.Throughout the day, you'll take ownership of assigned projects-working independently and leading portions of work while supporting newer technicians. Your expertise ensures all work is completed accurately, efficiently, and in full compliance with regulatory requirements.Essential Job FunctionsPerform advanced inspections, servicing, and repairs on aircraft systems and components, with emphasis on King Air and turboprop aircraftTroubleshoot and function test airframe, engine, and component systems using manufacturer technical dataLead assigned aircraft projects, ensuring work scope, quality, and timelines are metInterpret and apply technical data, service bulletins, and airworthiness directivesComplete and review maintenance documentation in accordance with FAA regulations and company proceduresUtilize the work order system to document discrepancies and corrective actions accuratelySupport and mentor junior technicians in both technical execution and documentation practicesMaintain compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standardsEnsure proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and work areasPerform other duties as assignedQualifications & RequirementsEducation & Experience:High school diploma or equivalent required8+ years of aircraft maintenance experience requiredStrong knowledge of FARs 43, 65, 91, 135, and 145Experience working on turboprop aircraft required; King Air experience strongly preferredLicenses:FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License requiredInspection Authorization (IA) preferredAbility to obtain and maintain AOA badgeMust obtain and retain Elliott Aviation Production Inspector (Blue Stamp) designationSkills & Competencies:Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities across aircraft systemsAbility to interpret and apply complex technical data and regulatory requirementsStrong leadership and mentoring skillsEffective communication in complex technical situationsHigh attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipStrong organizational skills and ability to manage project timelinesCommitment to maintaining a safe and compliant work environmentPhysical & Work EnvironmentLift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionallyExtended standing, bending, kneeling, and working in confined spacesExposure to aircraft maintenance environments including noise, temperature variation, and heightsAdditional RequirementsMaintain required tooling to perform assigned dutiesAbility to work various shifts and overtime as neededOccasional overnight or short-notice travelWhy Join ElliottAt Elliott Aviation, your experience is respected. The pay range provided is a good faith estimate representative of experience levels.
