Location: St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic School – Houma

St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic School provides students with a strong Catholic educational foundation where faith, learning, and service are central to school life.
St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic School is seeking a faith-filled and dynamic Kindergarten Teacher for the upcoming school year. The ideal candidate will build strong academic foundations while nurturing students spiritually, socially, and emotionally.
Lead daily prayer and model Catholic values
Teach reading readiness, phonics, writing, math, religion, science, and social studies
Create a structured, engaging, and joyful classroom environment
Differentiate instruction to meet student needs
Monitor student growth and communicate with families
Maintain attendance, grades, and student records
Supervise students during assigned duties
Collaborate with faculty and administration
Attend meetings, liturgies, trainings, and school events
Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education required
Louisiana teaching certification preferred
Early childhood or kindergarten experience preferred
Strong instructional and classroom management skills
Commitment to Catholic mission and values
Background check and Safe Environment training required
