A growing charter school in Palmetto, Florida is seeking a nurturing, energetic, and dedicated Kindergarten Teacher to join its elementary team. Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with Florida's academic standards.
- Foster a warm, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that supports the growth of every student.
- Teach foundational reading, writing, math, science, and social studies skills through hands-on and interactive instruction.
- Support students' social, emotional, and behavioral development using positive classroom management strategies.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners.
- Monitor student progress through ongoing assessments and maintain accurate academic records.
- Build strong partnerships with parents through regular communication and conferences.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers, administrators, and support staff to ensure student success.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
- Florida Educator Certificate or Statement of Eligibility in Elementary Education.
- Passion for early childhood education and helping young learners thrive.
- Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to create an engaging, student-centered learning environment.
- Previous elementary or early childhood teaching experience is preferred.
