EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or Equivalent or current Junior or Senior student in the North East Independent School District Experience working with children
High School Diplomas and college/university degrees must be obtained from an accredited program or university approved by the United States Department of Education and the Texas Education agency.
PRIMARY PURPOSE SUMMARY:
Works after school directly with elementary and/or middle school students to provide academic enrichment and recreational activities in accordance with Kids' Involvement Network curriculum plans, and policies and procedures of North East Independent School District.
OTHER INFORMATION:
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, each day that school is in session.
Work Hours: 2:30 pm - 6:15 pm, 2:45 pm - 6:30 pm or 3:00-6:30 pm
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists in organization, setup and restoration of facilities in various daily program areas.
Assists in organizing and maintaining supplies and equipment for daily activities.
Assists in maintaining supervision of both large and small group activities.
Assists in implementation of daily enrichment plans.
Supervises group homework activities.
Assists in maintaining a clean and neat program area at all times.
Participates in all staff training and staff meetings.
Maintains confidentiality of information.
Reports to work on time every day.
Performs additional duties and responsibilities as may be assigned.
